Alloy Steel Gr 2HM Fasteners are made up of mostly chromium, molybdenum, manganese, carbon, and silicon and contain high strength and resistance to high-temperature conditions. These fasteners provide superior mechanical properties such as high tensile strength, better hardness, and good fatigue resistance. They have a typical tensile strength of 860 MPa, yield strength of 650 MPa, and elongation of approximately 20%. Grade 2HM fasteners are specially designed to serve in critical applications and are also heat-treated to improve their durability and structural integrity under mechanical stress and high pressure.
