Alloy Steel Gr B5 Washers are manufactured using chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, with high chromium content (up to 5%), molybdenum, carbon, manganese, and other strengthening constituents. The washers have high tensile strength, hardness, and wear resistance. Mechanical properties are normally high tensile strength of about 860 MPa, good yield strength, and remarkable toughness even under severe stress conditions. Heat-treated composition in them increases hardness and fatigue and corrosion resistance, making them well suited for high-pressure and high-temperature conditions.
