Alloy Steel Grade 91 Coil contains mostly Chromium (8-9.5%) and Molybdenum (0.85-1.05%), supplemented by Carbon, Manganese, Vanadium, and Niobium in minute proportions. This special composition improves its mechanical properties with a tensile strength around 585 MPa and a yield strength of around 415 MPa, and it has a minimum elongation of 20%. These properties offer superior resistance to high temperatures, oxidation, and pressure and are therefore suitable for extreme operating conditions. It is highly suitable for critical structural and mechanical applications due to its high creep strength and thermal stability.
