Alloy Steel P22 Pipes are primarily made up of chromium (1.90–2.60%) and molybdenum (0.87–1.13%), along with smaller amounts of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and silicon. This unique combination provides outstanding strength, hardness, and resistance to corrosion. The mechanical properties of these pipes include a tensile strength ranging from 415 to 585 MPa, a yield strength of at least 205 MPa, and a minimum elongation of 20%. Built to endure high temperatures and pressures, P22 pipes showcase excellent thermal stability, oxidation resistance, and weldability. These features make them ideal for critical applications in power generation and the petrochemical sector.
