Alloy Steel T1 Tubing is composed mainly of carbon, manganese, molybdenum, and chromium, providing excellent strength and toughness. The standard chemical composition consists of approximately 0.15% carbon, 0.30–0.60% manganese, and 0.44–0.65% molybdenum. These tubes have high tensile strength, good creep resistance, and high thermal stability. Mechanical properties of T1 tubing are a tensile strength of 415 MPa (minimum), yield strength of 220 MPa (minimum), and elongation of 30% (minimum). These together make T1 tubing a first choice for high-pressure, high-temperature applications in a variety of industries.
