Alloy Steel T11 Tubing consists mainly of chromium (1.00–1.50%) and molybdenum (0.44–0.65%), which improves its strength and resistance to corrosion. It also has carbon (max 0.15%), manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and silicon in limited amounts. Mechanically, it possesses superior tensile strength (415 MPa min), yield strength (205 MPa min), and satisfactory elongation (30% min), allowing it to be used in high-pressure and high-temperature conditions. Its low carbon content also provides better weldability and ductility, whereas the alloying contents provide it with better creep resistance and thermal stress structural stability.
