Alloy Steel T5 Tubing is made up of chromium (4-6%), molybdenum (0.45-0.65%), manganese, and carbon that combined provide superior strength, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature stability. The tubing has very good mechanical properties with a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and excellent elongation and hardness. It is well suited to withstand high-pressure and high-heat applications. The tubing is typically normalized and tempered in order to develop a very fine balance of toughness, ductility, and durability in harsh industrial conditions.
