Alloy Steel T91 Tubing is mainly comprised of chromium (8-9.5%), molybdenum (0.85-1.05%), and carbon (0.08-0.12%), with minute amounts of manganese, silicon, and vanadium. This chemical composition gives T91 tubing high strength, superior oxidation resistance, and improved creep rupture strength. Mechanically, T91 tubing has exceptional tensile strength (minimum 585 MPa) and yield strength (minimum 415 MPa), along with acceptable hardness and toughness. These characteristics make it suitable for applications under high temperature where it needs to withstand thermal fatigue and pressure.
