API 5L Grade B PSL1 Pipe is generally made of carbon steel with slight traces of manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur, providing high structural strength. The standard chemical composition contains a maximum of 0.26% carbon, 1.20% manganese, 0.030% phosphorus, and 0.030% sulfur. It provides good mechanical properties with a minimum yield strength of 245 MPa and tensile strength of 415 to 760 MPa.
