BIRNAR 450 Sheet and Plates are chromium-nickel-manganese carbon wear-resistant steels that add to their toughness and strength. With an average hardness of 450 BHN, these plates demonstrate high abrasion resistance and structural strength. They possess a tensile strength of around 1250–1450 MPa and a yield strength of about 1000 MPa. In spite of their hardness, they are reasonably weldable and machinable and can be used in intricate fabrication and heavy-duty service in harsh environments.
