Carbon Steel EN-19 Bars consist mainly of chromium, molybdenum, and manganese, providing a superlative combination of toughness and strength. Generally, chemical composition contains about 0.35–0.45% carbon, 0.90–1.50% chromium, and 0.20–0.40% molybdenum. These bars have high tensile strength (850–1000 MPa), good ductility, and tremendous wear resistance. Their suitability for heat treatment results in their hardness and structural integrity being heightened. EN-19 bars are especially prized for their resistance to impact and fatigue, and therefore best suited for applications with high stress in most industries.
