Carbon Steel EN-351 Bars consist mainly of Carbon (C) 0.10–0.20%, Manganese (Mn) 0.60–1.00%, Silicon (Si) 0.15–0.35%, Phosphorus (P) ≤0.035%, Sulfur (S) ≤0.035%, Chromium (Cr) 0.40–0.80%, and Nickel (Ni) 0.60–1.00%. These bars are heat-treated at 850–860°C, oil-quenched, and then tempered between 175–200°C, exhibiting a hardness value between 62–64 HRC. This composition and heat treatment combination provides superior strength, wear resistance, and good machinability, qualifying them for challenging applications.
