The carbon content generally varies between 0.06% and 0.18%, with manganese content ranging between 0.27% and 0.63%. Phosphorus and sulfur content are maintained low, typically below 0.035% and 0.035%, respectively, to improve weldability and minimize brittleness. Mechanical properties encompass tensile strengths of 325 MPa, yield strengths of 180 MPa, and elongation percentages of 35%, varying according to grade.
