NICRODUR 450 Sheets and Plates are made from alloyed wear-resistant steels, primarily featuring carbon, manganese, chromium, and molybdenum. These elements work together to boost their hardness and abrasion resistance, with a typical hardness of around 450 HBW. They boast impressive mechanical properties, including high tensile strength, excellent impact resistance, and good formability when conditions are right. With a yield strength of about 1200 MPa and tensile strength between 1400–1600 MPa, NICRODUR 450 is built to last.
