S355JO+N is a non-alloy structural steel grade that provides a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa and greater impact resistance, even at sub-zero temperatures. The standard composition comprises 0.22% Carbon, 1.60% Manganese, 0.55% Silicon, and trace quantities of Sulphur and Phosphorus. The “+N“ marking means the steel is delivered in a normalized condition, which improves its mechanical properties. With tensile strength of 470 to 630 MPa and superior elongation and weldability, S355JO+N steel provides reliable performance in structural applications.
